Funny thing is, my trade-in was a 2001 Volvo XC70. About the same gas milage, but only if I ran premium. So my gas costs are actually less.

Or would be if this thing wasn't so fun to drive.

Thanks N'Westers. My wife grew up in Seaside/Gearhart, I was born in the south (but I only brought the BBQ with me and none of the wacky attitudes, you'll have to try my Memphis-style dry ribs and Western North Carolina-style pulled pork).

We lived in Portland for two and a half years, detoured to Dallas, TX for an eternity one year (there's a reason they're so proud, they settled hell), and finally ended up in Seattle. It's totally home for us, been here eight years.

Look forward to meeting on the trail or otherwise.

Heheheheh, and as a true Bama boy, I know a thang or two about ribs. My son went to school at U of Memphis. Told me to come out and show them boys how to grill....
