Default New Reiter Trail

Went and checked out Reiter today at the "open house". It's definitely still a work in progress, but its a start. The dude I talked to said that they hoped to have a few trails built by summer. Right now there is only one. It was still pretty fun. Everybody was just taking multiple laps and watching the carnage on the big rock pile. There were only a few people out there. My brother in law was supposed to go with me, but bailed.

Getting hung up a stump.. lol. Figured I try out the winch since its been a while.

If you go, I suggest a good set of sliders

Good assortment of rigs

Stupid license plate got bumped off again.

I took the license plate off and zip tied it to my tire before I left... lol

I took a video. I'll see if I can get it uploaded

http://www.facebook.com/v/10100638636778843 Unfortunately, the battery died before I made it over.... But the snow did offer some challenge.

So is the one trail open now everyday or just by "invite" only?

Here is some info for you.

It's open to all for some test dates. Honestly, the more Jeeps the merrier. The DNR is looking for feedback and the more people that come will show them that there is a strong demand for 4x4 trails.

Is this trail suitable for long wheel base vehicles too?

last time I went to reiter, i was stock, and did some of the trails. don't even remember what they were called. I'd love to check out the new stuff. thinking about Feb 17th run, or the March 9th openings.

I'm hoping that there are easier trails open, cuz I can't risk breaking stuff right now :( She's my DD and I can't afford not to go to work. Anyone down to come? Do some of the trails and see how the new reiter is? Last time I didn't even air down, but seeing those pictures it looks more difficult.
