Welcome and congrats, Meljr.
We are going to have a lot of fun next year too...
I hope to meet you, and f100 among others at Browns Camp on Friday the 12th as well.
Stay in touch, if you have any questions about TSF, as this run will be more informational and people just getting to see some of the area... and some light wheelin' as well. Bring a camera too.

Welcome!

I won't be here for much longer, but hope you enjoy it! Moving to the south! I will stay a part of here in case I end up moving back north to WA.

Thanks, Outdoors -- I've made all the arrangements to take the day off from work and I'm gonna try to get some of the recently purchased mods installed, but I'm going to be there on the 12th done or not.

By the way, aside from the ORV sticker, do you know of any equipment requirements for the Browns Camp trails?

Sorry you are leaving, but the South group seems quite active and I am sure you will meet plenty of nice folk from the JK-forum there.

I hope to see you on a trail sometime, somewhere

:
For any off road trip, 1. A CB radio would be a very nice item to have in your Jeep. Reason? You are more aware of the surroundings by listening and being able communicate with everyone in the group with out stopping and getting out of the Jeep... This saves a lot of time on the trail as well. Plus in an emergency or tough situation on the trail you can ask for help, or for someone else who might need it.

2. Recovery gear at least a tow strap rated for the Jeep... for now.
There are a lot of other things too. but for next week those two items would be very advantageous...

I have a list of stuff but I don't want everyone to think we are building the space shuttle here... We are just meeting up first and the cb and tow strap will be something that should be in the JK for all runs and maybe kept in the Jeep all the time if possible..
