Pics?
Nothing of me stuck in the giant mud hole. Just some general pics of the Jeep out in the snow. I went off of National Forest Development Road 45, right outside of Dodge/Estacada.

Unfortunately, the mud hole ate my iPhone as well, it slipped out of the vehicle when I was getting in and out of it. But if you want to check out my soaked interior carpet feel free to! I am thinking about gutting the interior and having it Line-X'ed. Anyone around this area have it done yet?

Rennie, if you are looking to get out there earlier in the day I would be willing to meet up. Plus if others are wanting to get out there a little earlier we could get a group going. Maybe meet at a local Starbucks, chit chat for a couple of minutes and then head out?

Granted you are a Rubi, doubt I could hang with you!

Is everyone talking about a run this sat (April 3rd)? I would be down to go mid-morning and then meet-up with the afternoon people, but I couldn't stay past 5-6pm.

Ok I maybe be able to get off earlier on Sat But we really gotta watch the snow level this week. I'm sure it's been dumping up there all day. And not sure if it's going to let up But if it doesn't we can always go towards estacada for some MUD

April 3 morning to afternoon interests me, and as far as keeping up with a Rubi, well, I'm a newbie and the equipment is only as good as the driver.

I was just looking and government camp just got 15 inches of new snow in the past 24 hours.

Maybe we need to get a tentative list going of JKR's who want to do a run this weekend with general location, and what times they are available. Since we can maybe run an early group and then have a meet up with an afternoon group.

I am available Sat (April 3rd) from 7am-6pm.

I am more than willing to go anywhere someone has trailed @ before and can lead. I guess general location would be within 2 hours from Portland/Tualatin area.

I have small kit of med stuff, tools, a 3"x30' looped tow strap, couple shackles, and my winch. I can also bring my crappy 12v compressor to air back up but the lil' guy was made for accord tires.

Just got done watching weekend forecast. Snow level ~3300ft on Saturday w/rain. I don't really care about the forecast, I want to do a run.

I really wanna do a snow run and I know Fletch has done a fair share.
Barlow trail would be a blast just need to know the snow level by thurs or so.
My buddy shane goes when there's even up to 3' of fresh With plenty of rigs and recovery gear we'd be fine.... If in fact there's to much snow then I say up towards/past estacada..... I have generator, aircompressor, snatchblock, shackles, snatch strap, tow strap, tools etc oh and of course my winch

Wow, 3 feet is deep.
I'm not really set up for that kind of snow, and don't enjoy it unless I can get up on top of it- that's going to have to wait until I can get lifted and stuff some 35's underneath! I'll spare you guys having to pull me and Rennie out of the deep stuff for now.

But, milder snow, mud, rocks, are all good... I'll keep an eye on the thread and see what you come up with. If nothing else might be fun to put some faces to names and go where we can go.

Dust I agree with you. I am really not set up for that much snow either.

I will be keeping an eye on this thread as well. Dust/Rennie, I would be up for it if we wanted to meet up with everybody put some faces to names and then do as much of Barlow as we can. Then when it becomes a little too much we could go exploring for some dirt/rocks/mud to play in.
