Default Seattle EJS - Who is Going

UPDATED JAN 25

Well it's the new year and time to prepare for Moab Easter Jeep Safari (EJS) again. Several of us have plans to attend already and I'm starting this thread to see who is going from the Seattle area and when they plan to be there. We can then see about convoy opportunities and some possible meet ups at EJS. This is the mega Jeep event of the year with 2,000 plus rigs being there running 40+ trails in a combination of Red Rock 4 Wheelers lead trips and private trips. Signups for RR4W begin this coming Tuesday Jan 22.

Currently going:
1. Gary T "blueice" depart Seattle March 23, Depart Moab March 31
2. Gary H "gary" depart Seattle March 23, Depart Moab March 31
3. Alex G "nwapache" depart Seattle March 23, Depart Moab March 31
4. Moabcj7 depart Seattle March 23, Return March 31
5. Grep P. depart Seattle March 23, Return March 30
6. Northridge4x4 depart Seattle March 23, Return April 3

Maybe

Caravan from Seattle on March 23. Meet at Northbend Chevron (I90 Exit 31) @10am.

We have 3 trail runs that are an opportunity to get together with other PNW folks. 1 is private just with our group doing it ourself, 1 is semi private with free signup with Super Chips and 1 is $50 with Red Rock 4 Wheelers who run EJS itself. 1 or more trails with RR4W gets you a raffle ticket for Friday nights huge drawings with all the vendors and makes you eligible to signup for the free BBQ being put on by Quadratec.

Tuesday March 26 - Seven Mile Rim/Wipe Out Hill - Private PNW/NorCal run (see separate threat for signups)

Tuesday March 26 - Quadratec BBQ (signup via EJS Red Rock 4 Wheelers - free with one or more trails)

Wednesday March 27 - Super Chips Night Run with Dan Mick, signup with Super Chips off the MOAB staging area

Thursday March 28 - Flat Iron Mesa - Private PNWNorCal run (see separate thread for signups)

Saturday March 30 - Porcupine Rim (signup via EJS Red Rock 4 Wheelers, but hurry they are going fast)

I'm planning on going but I won't know for sure till I head back to work this week and look at my schedule. Things really need to line up for me to be able to take that much time off.

Default Ejs

Depending on my schedule I have the time off but I am working on a new project for my job and it may run over but I will have the schedule laid out this week so It looks possible for me. So for now I have to say maybe. The timing is very right though.

Bummer you can't make it with us.

WOG, maybe we can do a Walker run next month. Several of us a already committed to some runs with guys from other parts of the country. However, we are planning a fun run on Tuesday March 26 to Seven Mile Rim and for those up to it doing the optional Wipe Out Hill midway. I've updated the original post with more info.

I'll will be driving down on the 22nd and leaving Moab on the 31st. I am only going as far as SLC and flying back to SEA. I have done most of the trails in Moab and will be running my favorite trails: Fins and Things on Monday the 25th, Poison Spider Tuesday the 26th, Elephant Hill Thursday the 28th and Kane Creek on Saturday the 30th. Working on a meet and greet with the Northern Cal guys at Eddie McStiffs, no date set as of yet. But more than wiling to make it a northwest and northern Cal meet and greet.
