Thumbs up

8am at Mc Donalds North plains exit off Hwy 26, good choice. that sounds fairly close to when I usually head up there with another group I wheel with...
f100, I invited a couple of others, I don't know if they can go yet though, looks good as the wheelers you mentioned might head us to the Crushers, and Mini Rubicon.. among others. and yes, those are bypasses for me..Since we will have a real diverse group.
meljr, what time is the earliest you can meet me at the Shell station..?
Or can we all meet up at the Mc Donalds at 8am? let me know asap.
thanks,

thanks,
I'll go for the McDonalds in North Plains at 8AM. I'm driving up from Salem, so I'll probably sneak around the back way to avoid having to deal with I-5 and the Sunset Hwy. I'm thinking of taking the doors off, so I'll probably end up freezing my ass off. Just look for the guy with the doorless Steel Blue Unlimited and no ass.

Perfect, we'll see you at 0800 then. I think the more the better. Like I said these guys are fairly new, they just have very built rigs. But they're ok with going on the boring trails with us not so outfitted Jeeps. Plus I want to see Dons Willys perform in the Mini-Rubicon.

Thumbs up short comment on the trip.

I think everyone had a good time, It was nice to meet everyone too... Meljr and f100jeeper I'll get pics up this evening.
It's not my camera so I'll have to wait until this evening to down load the pics I took... It's really cool we made it through Firebreak Five with 2 stock JK Unlimited's... And f100jeeper with his nicely lifted and outfitted Jk Unlimited as well. My pics will kind of tell a story and you guys can fill in the blanks, if you know what I mean..
f100jeeper it was also good to meet the other guys who came to wheel as well with those very "nicely equipped" rigs as well...
I'll say it here it's a small world, as it was said up there.

Default another short comment on the trip

I had a great time, although not without some self-inflicted carnage (see pic). As some one remarked "well, Mel, your Jeep's underside isn't pristine anymore..." and neither is the front bumper!

Time for the stubby mod!

More pictures to come later this weekend.

Sounds good as I didn't get any of the JK's on the actual trail...:-(
We will do this again, I'm sure...
I know this is a nice one of you... Didn't want to post this pic of you, until you saw this...
