Snow Ride on Saturday 29th
Absolutely we are game for a snow run in the future.
[QUOTE=Sahara_Maverick;4015043]Indeed!

More like a forest road. Went there a couple years ago (with mdash if memory does not fail) and we managed to go half way through but it was much later in the year and the snow depth was crazy.
I have a few photos in my album.

Those photos are from the run you did with me and Dustin (Tiltz). Remember getting you to air down more and then you did great. Snow was super deep that day, we did not make it to the firepit. Snow conditions this week are completely the opposite. Big warm up right now, followed by freezing weather with only a little new. Hope you have a good run. I have a run planned Sunday or I would join you.

Yeah - gonna be pretty crusty. 38* and raining right now at Stevens - then it's supposed to be super cold on Friday night which will freeze everything. Might get a few inches of fresh powder on top which should help.

So, my memory indeed failed me.
Yep. I remember going all the way down to 8psi. My Jeep started "floating" on the snow. I also recall one time when we stopped and I got out and sunk almost all my legs in the snow.
Twin Lakes also seems like a cool ride. Need to plan one there later in December or January.

I am interested but don't understand your timeline...
It looks like you'll reach the trailhead around 10am after meetup? Then air down time and assume hitting the trail around 10:15? Then you want to go to lunch in Leavenworth? Are you planning only 2 hours or so on a snow run?
I'd prefer to meet earlier, pack/grill lunch, and then worry about dinner after the trail. I have a grill I can bring if anyone wants to bring a pack of burgers for lunch. Snow runs ussually consume a lot of time.
