I hate to back out as well but it's a long drive for me with the snow conditions being questionable. It's pouring down rain right now at Stevens and they're only projecting a couple of inches between tonight and the snow run.
I really was looking forward to this - I hope you guys go and the conditions work out.

Yep. Agree. The weather is sucking right now and does not look like it will be better this weekend. It's better we call it out and plan for when it looks better. I'll post an update on the OP cancelling this one.
Let's keep an eye for the next weekend.

I am interested but don't understand your timeline...
It looks like you'll reach the trailhead around 10am after meetup? Then air down time and assume hitting the trail around 10:15? Then you want to go to lunch in Leavenworth? Are you planning only 2 hours or so on a snow run?
I'd prefer to meet earlier, pack/grill lunch, and then worry about dinner after the trail. I have a grill I can bring if anyone wants to bring a pack of burgers for lunch. Snow runs ussually consume a lot of time.

The original plan was a late lunch. We would have some snacks on the trail and probably hit Leavenworth around 2pm.
Your idea is also very good and I would vote for it.
However, the weather is not helping us this weekend and we will have to move this one.
