Tough break Justin, atleast it didn't fail before you got to it. I still am surprised that I managed upper 311 without any more carnage. Must have been due to the excellent line advice from Mark! Oh well, the cherry is busted, now it's a bonafide trail rig.....

I barely brushed a rear fender on our outing. It was our 5 or 6th trip there. I have learned quite a bit about the trails there.

I've been to Evans more times then I can count and it's the type of place that will sneak up and bite you if you get over confident.

Sorry about the ujoint Justin. At least it got you home. Let me know if you need any help swapping it out.

Thumbs up Wes! Upper 311 is a good trail. It has a little bit of everything. In the snow and rain it can get ugly!!

I was discussing that with the missus. A good rain/snow storm and 311A would resemble Fire Break 5 down in Tillamook.

Very similar. Just not as long as firebreak.

I don't know who this Justin guy is but if he's anything like me (Jason) he must be pretty cool

Thanks for the offer Mark but I was able to fix it in our hotel parking lot using some basic tools. I'm pretty happy with the results just a little disappointed with u-joint failing in the first place. It only has 12,000 miles on it but I guess this stuff happens.

LOL. Oops. Sorry Jason. I knew that, I just didn't catch it. Good to hear you got it fixed already. No complaints from hotel management having the jeep all ripped apart in the parking lot?

Out of body experience possibly? Maybe he seen my ghost or something?
