who's in for a hump day run? I will be leaving May 1st for afghan for a year so I would like to get one more trip in while the wife is working. If anyone is interested post up or pm me.

I would really love to go, but I'm taking my daughter to see Mike Watt. Have fun, and the south loop was the most interesting for me.

And be safe in afghan, come home to that wife and jeep.

 

Actually, I might try to make it. It would have to be early. Mike Watt will be in-store at sonic boom from 5-6, and playing at the triple door at 7:30. It is important for me to make these times. My daughter is really into him and she was shocked to find out he once slept on my couch back in the day.

She's the only person in the family that hasn't been on a trail with me, so it would be good to freak her out before the show.

I've had my jeep for three weeks, no mods, and no recovery gear, but I drove a YJ for at least a decade. Already done Tahuya and didn't get stuck.

Worst part was getting some pine sap on the side. Mineral Spirits works wonders.

 

I'll check the schedule tomorrow when I head in to work and see if it's doable. Definitely gotta make the most of your time at home before a deployment. I'll post up tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest.

Well, after checking my schedule this morning, looks like getting away on Wednesday would be tough for me. Works been busy/crazy lately. You guys have fun.

 

Dam, whish I could. I ended up doing an unplanned run over there Saturday, great time. I'd run it again with you Wednesday if I could get the day off.

Be safe over there, we'll have to have a welcome back run next year.

 

Just put in my leave slip for Wednesday so barring something crazy I'm in. I'll iron out the details later on.
