Default Tahuya this Saturday 4/4/09 (near Belfair, WA)

Hey guys,

I plan on heading to Tahuya this Saturday(which is out by Belfair, WA). I'm new to the area and just got a new lift and 35s thrown on, looking to test out the new tires and lift. Anyone interested in meeting up? If so, send me a message or reply. I went to Tahuya once for only an hour or so, but plan on seeing it all and spending some time out there this time.

Below is a pic of my rig, post-lift. Most other pictures are pre-lift and trails along the east coast. I have tons of recovery gear if you're worried. I haven't seen all of Tahuya yet, so I don't know if it gets hairy anywhere.

Let me know if anyone wants to meet up!

Thumbs up

It's usually tough on short notice for most of us here, but I know how it is, you don't know you are going until that week.. If no one goes let us know how things go. Hopefully, some one here can go with you. Later.

Would love to go but have too many Honey-Do's around the house this weekend.

Yeah, I understand. Sadly with my job, short notice is all I have.

Sorry about your choice of weekend. I have been out there about 4 times this year already, but I just got back from Moab, and can't swing another trip this weekend. But post up again in the future, lots of us go. also check out the northwest section at

Perhaps some other time. The next "in-area" trip I want to make is to Evans Creek, but I also don't think I have time available for a while.

I live pretty close to Tahuya so short notice works for me, most of the time...
I can't today but PM me when ever you feel like doing a run out there.

Well, here's some pictures and one video from the day I spent with the Quadrapaws. Again, great group! It's nice to meet people who respect the trail and have good fun.

Wow this thing was huge.

I had a ton of fun out there!

And here's a link to the video of me climbing Yellow Jacket:

There was very little traction on Yellow Jacket!! Very slick. In the end, a rock kicked my tires in a turn, turned me sideways, and when I tried to back out of it, it nearly tipped me when the rear dropped into a hole. So, we used the winch to pull out of the angle rather than trying to give it gas. So the last bit of the hill was winch assisted.

BrettDez,

That is one wicked looking Power Wagon in your first picture and what looks like a pretty extreme hill climb. I'd of liked to have been there to see that
