Hi Everyone,



Lower temperatures and higher humidity have reduced the fire danger. As a result we will be dropping back to an Industrial Fire Precaution Level 2 effective at 1:00 AM Saturday August 1st. That means the OHV trails in the Tillamook State Forest (Browns Camp, Jordan Creek, Diamond Mill, and Trask) and the OHV trails in the BLM Nestucca Riding Area will be open for use again effective Saturday August 1st.



Please help us spread the word in the OHV community and, as always, feel free to call if you have any questions.

Thanks for the update. I need to get on a direct feed for this information myself. It would have been nice to hit up Browns Camp today in preparation for my Northern California trip next week, but its a little too late for me to change plans and get out today.

Please refer to the map at http://oregon.gov/ODF/TSF/docs/09docs/RegUseMap.pdf which defines those areas of the TSF that are open to off road OHV use when Regulated Use restrictions at Fire Protection Level (FPL) 1 or 2 are in effect.

Please note that motorized off road travel is not allowed at FPL 3 or higher. Tillamook is currently at FPL 2 as of 0100, 8/1/09.
