Alrighty then. Let's get this going. Do folks like the last area or should we move it south to Tacoma? I agree with the route, it needs to be simple and direct. I will check the Tacoma area for a TfT drop off and a meet up place. I can also scout the Renton location for a little better route.

How does 12/7 or 12/14 sound for a date? Ron's suggestion looks good.

The only toys for tots drop appears to be the one in Normandy Park that we went to last year. My suggestion would be to meet at the Red Robin in Des Moines then caravan up HWY509 to the TfT drop. We should be able to keep everyone together that way. I'd suggest doing it the 14th.

There are plenty of places in Tacoma, Tacoma Veterans Center, 491 Center St. Suite E. Tacoma. I'm good with the Normandy park one though. So, can you get some addresses so we can post a map up? And let's call it for Dec 14th. Give everyone time to eat and then head over.

Dec 14th is the last day the Normandy Park site accepts drop offs. And the Red Robin in Des Moines is a fairly straight shot. We can meet for lunch for those that want. And then head to the drop off around 13:30/14:00

My son and I are in again this year.

Last year we even squeezed a snow run up to Chinook pass in after dropping off the toys.

 

Is anyone going to make this official: maybe start a thread with an official announcement instead of a thread with a question mark. Me and my family would like to participate, prolly a couple other buddies as well. The 14th is coming soon
