Trip Report: Hey Jason, how long does it take to get to Moab?
When we found out the fires on Manashtash Ridge where going to put a damper on our wheeling plans for last weekend, we needed to come up with a new plan. The destination was set. Moab, UT. We left Wednesday night at 7pm, wheeled Friday and Saturday then drove home and were back at 7pm Sunday. 2250 total miles and the best wheeling trip I've been on to this day. I can't thank Jason (Ronin2120) enough for making this trip with me. Anyway, enough BS, lets get to the pictures. Here is just a sample of the 500 pictures my wife took.

That was an awesome trip!!!!!!!!!

Now theres proof for everyone if you got five days to burn Moab is within reach.
I'm glad I went with Mark and Deborah, I was able to run trails that I previously hadn't because of the lack of experience. Huge shout out to Deborah for taking all those pics we all know how rare it is to see us with our rigs in action.
The trip had everything from bad driving weather, great views and white knuckle obstacles (see me going down Z turn
) to In N Out Burger in Salt Lake City and the infamous pigeon explosion outside of Twin Falls

"4.5 days, 2250 miles driven, high temp of 100 - low temp of 49, two lightning storms, one stop at In-N-Out, one pigeon down, lots of pictures, great wheeling = a pretty amazing impromptu road trip. Thanks Moab, it was great!"
I can't agree more.
