Myself and some friends went to Olympia yesterday for the 2nd amendment rally held at the state capital. If you weren't familiar, an organization called Guns Across America organized a "pro gun" "pro 2nd amendment" rally to be held at each state capital in all the 50 states at high noon yesterday. We were very surprised to see such a large gathering and it warmed my heart knowing that there are still some red blooded Americans out there. WSP estimated over 1500 people attended.



Some friends of mine are doing an interview for a reporter from The Olympian. The reporters goal was to talk to "normal families with kids" to see how they teach there children about gun safety, how there guns are stored and how they talk to there kids about gun violence.

 

Had a good time, it was nice to see the variety of people in attendance.

The article was posted Sunday AM and then it was removed by that afternoon! :( another prime example of a biased media!

I believe the media does a good job of reporting the news in an unbiased manner and represents the views of all Americans no matter there polical beliefs.

Good find Bob. I was in the process of writing a letter to The Olympian. In fact, I had just copied it from my Microsoft Word document and was going to past it here to share and in my email outbox. I guess I don't have to now. Suppose I'll go back to work.
