Default Walker Valley Saturday March 3rd

Trip report and pictures start on post #99. Good times!

Planning for next Saturday to make a run to Walker Valley. I know currently it will be myself and my friend Jeremy with his Samurai. Possibly a few other rigs but not sure yet. All are invited. I, myself have have not been to Walker so I don't know what trails we are running or where we are meeting so it would be really cool if someone that has been there before comes along.

Edit 2-24-12: Meeting at main parking lot off Peter Burns Road at 10am on Saturday, March 3rd.
Edit 2-27-12: Southenders are meeting at Safeway in Kent on the corner of Kent Kangley and 132nd by Lake Meridian at 8am

I could go with you guys! Sinse it doesn't look like there's to much interest on the 25th. Now, i've only been up their once! So I'll call a buddy of mine who lives in Lake Stevens to see if he's free! Probably get some other guys from the forum like NWApache! He should be free.

Sounds good Rich. Jeremy with the samurai, him and his wife, are the ones that know your wife and brother in law.

It's a small world we live in.

I remember one time, I was in Baluchistan *don't ask* and I ran into a co-worker from a civilian job from 10 years previous. It doesn't get much smaller than that.
I'd love to head out with you guys, but I will be in Santa Barbara next weekend looking for a thermometer that reads higher than 58 degrees!

I heard your jeep will go home a dented Taco Wagon if you take it to walker?

Someone is lying to you, and has no skills.

You could turn your jeep into a dented taco at tahuya if you tried hard enough...patience and caution is all you need

Thats funny. I hear more carnage stories about Tahuya then I do anywhere else. I think it comes down to not driving over your head and be patient.

Walker sure has a rep. My only trouble in Walker has been hard top scrape on leaning trees with tight turns and needing to flex over roots. I think for the future topless or soft top will be best for me on a JKU with 37s and 5+" of lift.

I'm contemplating joining. Maybe we can get Fred or Boosted Bill to lead us. Are you guys listening
