The Navy base in Pensacola has an outstanding disc golf course!

 

Me and my brother play about every other week, and his friends drinks and watches haha good stufff

 

The Austin area is lucky to have a few courses designed by the famous John Houck (well... disc golf famous anyway) and I used to play every weekend. The drought the last couple years has made it miserable and I need to make myself go again this fall. Used to love the peace of mind of getting away for a few hours and hucking some discs

 

Unfortunately didn't get to play nearly as much this year as I wanted to

 

I picked it up about 2yrs ago! Loads of fun & challenging.

Man, I used to play 3x a week before we had kids. I'm not even sure where my discs are at this point. I use to use a Champion Beast, Shark. and I believe a Roc. I really liked that setup.

 

It's starting to get nice out, I hope to be playing soon

 

I just found the local course last August and have been hitting it hard ever since. Was just wondering if this was posted on here and look what I found. So far I have played in 3 PDGA tournaments and am just having a ball!! Doing a tournament in Arkansas this weekend if anyone is going to be out that way. Around here if you want to play in the tournaments you have to take a pretty good drive...
