You can get used bikes for great deals. It sounds like you should offer him a little less though.

Nice Bike, Kntr, I like the socom model as well, but here is what I am currently building.

I don't have pics of my m6 yet since I'm still ordering all my parts. Will post when I finish the build.

Oh man, I just cancelled my M6 order. They were pissed. I was going to build a works blue, 888, CCBD, I9s, Hammer Schmidt, etc. Yes, I said Hammer Schmidt. I have to still pedal up sometimes. I just could justify it. I want a Hemi first.. The Socom will have to do.

I picked my M6 up from my dealer a week ago Friday. It's a great bike. Can't wait for the resorts to open this summer. Build is M6, Fox 40, Saint Brakes, King headset and hubs, DT spokes and rims, E-13 chain guide, X.0, truvativ cranks, and a completely ridiculously lite Easton Monkey Lite DH handlebar. Bike came in at 41.5 lbs.

Wifes new bike. MSRP was $3700. I got it for $1892 on closeout. I did a few upgrades.

It's just amazing to me how much stronger and lighter DH bikes are these days. My Specialized Demo 7 is stock and it's 39lbs.

Yep. My 2001 Rocky Mountain RM6 is 38lbs. The M6 is definitely harder to pedal uphill than the RM6 though. I've had the RM6 at the top of Porcupine Rim and Amasa Back. Not sure I'd want to pedal (push) the M6 to the top of those. Of course, I could always find someone with a Jeep...

These new bike are just something else,, and with a $ to match,, I have dirt bikes that are close to that $ range.. and they have more suspension and go faster,, but I still want a new specialized enduro..
