Any mountain bikers?
I built up a close out 08 Jamis Paker last year, Zocci 44TST2 forks, Rock Shox rear, 2.3 WTB Weirwollfs, Bonty rhythm elite wheels, Bonty seat and post, 30" FUNN Fat bars, Hayes Stroker Disc brakes, Race Face crank, X-7 running gear, its a 1x9 gear set and comes in around close to 30 pounds. Its a tad heavy but it takes a beating, only rode it a few times since the rebuild, used to ride a Trek 8000. Like I said the bikes not light but the setup allows me to ride a little of everything, fast twisty downhill runs are my favorite......up hill not so much but it is a great workout. Sad thing is that I am thinking about selling it with less than 20 mile on the rebuild, or I may keep it and ride when I get some time at ft Bliss.
I was biking since I was 16 or so. I´m now 42 and after a 10-15 year break I bought 2 new bikes.
Well was not a complete biking break. But instead of participating in DH races and so on I just rolled around with a pal and my grilfriend.
First is a Kona for having some fun around my home.

the other one is a DH bike. YT Industries. Probably only available in Germany or Europe.
Thought I could go to a bike parc couple of times. But I don´t have enough time and also see that my skillz are a bit......
well I was never a technical driver doing a lot of jumping and so......
I think I just have to learn it again.

Just bought a Mondraker Foxy R 2012. Had a nasty accident during a downhill ride in the late 90's so I have not ridden since then. About time to start again.
