Default A few WWII photos I scanned some featuring Jeeps

My brother-in-law's great uncle was a photographer in World War 2. He was stationed at Guam near the end of the war. I was able to scan some of these photos because they had the original Jeep and other cool vehicles, planes and tanks.

Please remember that in one of these pics the Japanese are called names on the signs, it was a different time. I in no way endorse it, I just wanted to show off some history.

Enjoy...

The allies would dump their wrecked planes, tanks and vehicles in giant pits on the island.

Some GI with a scrapped Japanese tank.

I'm not going to directly post this last one... because it's pretty graphic. It was war after all. If the mods think it's too much, I or they can remove it. Link

My brother-in-law had a ton more spanning all the way to the Vietnam war then a few from his own father from the air base on Greenland. It was very cool to see all these old pics. I hope you guys like them too.

If its the photo I think your refering to it is a B-29 super fortress it was the first long range bomber with a pressurized cabin , radar and remote controlled guns and was the type of plane that the '' ENOLA GAY'' was , you know the plane that dropped the first nuke on japan. and the second bomb for that matter but I can't remember the name of that exact palane
