Yes, that's true. I was thinking the question I answered was in the context of my statement above that we'd been to 42 of the 46 in the lower 48. BTW: Headed to Congaree in July. Curtis is working a research project at Georgia Tech, which is only four hours drive away, so will visit him and two of my other kids at that time, and get another park.

Crater Lake is spectacular. Here are a few pic's from our 2007 visit ...

This is water, not sky ...

http://images.photo1.walgreens.com/2...A76%3C56nu0mrj

A guy asked me what I was taking a picture of as I shot this, and I explained that the water looked so much like the sky in most of my shots, but this one showed texture ...

The next morning we were about the only people driving around the rim. We stopped and made a quick breakfast ... one of the most spectacular locations that I've ever had a cup of coffee ...

In case you didn't know, usually reflecting ponds are only a couple inches deep. They reflect better that way. Pretty interesting that one of the deepest lakes in the world also nicely reflected its surroundings ...

An interesting perspective on Wizard Island that you catch a glimpse of while driving. I hiked back up the road to take this shot ...
