from a night trip to dc for some pictures
night shots in Crystal City, VA
The National Cathedral in DC
My new pet Red Iguana, but he's still young, so he's still got some green to him.

Excellent pic's, everyone! Here are a few recent ones of mine ...
The clouds were non-existent at the Grand Canyon a couple weeks ago, but
the moon made a nice addition to a few pic's. Still, disappointed after waiting
in 24 degree weather for 2-1/2 hours that the sky was otherwise bald. Used
a +2 GND filter to control sky brightness, but otherwise the colors are
unaltered ...

My personal favorite I took this trip--Painted Desert in Petrified Forest ...

And finally one of the Texas high point (Guadalupe Mtn) and El Capitan ...

I saw in one shot someone feeling the steam coming through a vent, I am curious, was there no warning about raw gas coming out? That stuff can kill in seconds.
Anyhow looked like a great trip and now that I am retired I should be able to make some, nice to not be so durn busy!
