Here is the CSX engine running in the 3rd position.

Here is the BNSF in the 4th position and the Canadian Nation in the 3rd being led by 2 Union Pacific motors.

Finally here is a rare photo op. The UP motor up front is the North Little Rock Centennial being followed by a Rio Grande. Notice the newly painted road numbers.

Those are some really beautiful pictures , what was the camera used ? You must be a professional photographer.

Thanks for the compliment but I am no way near being a professional. I wouldn't even call myself an ametuer. More of a hobbiest.

I have a Nikon D80 with 2 kit lens'. A 55-200 and a 18-55. However those last 3 photos posted here were taken with an old Sony point and shoot camera.

The shots themselves are not that good but what makes them lookable is they have locos not commonly seen here in So Cal.

Hey, I think I saw that train come through Banff last year around Christmas. I remember cause my camera froze up and I was po'd that I couldn't get a picture. It's awesome all lit-up.

and the Canadian National in the pic below is so dirty compared to the others.
It's probably seen more backcountry trails than the others
