Attention all you Silver State (particularly Vegas/Henderson area) Jeep Dawgs:

Listen up, I know this is short notice...but I absolutely NEED to get out of town (SoCal) for a couple of days...summer doldrums, bored out of my mind...blah, blah, blah...Sin City for a couple of days sounds good.

Here's how it's going down:

I'm leaving town in approximately 30 minutes to stay at The Orleans for tonight, all of tomorrow, and tomorrow night (coming back to L.A. on Thursday morning). I should be up at The Orleans (Lord willing) by 8:00 PM tonight...I'm getting wireless as soon as I check in...so I'll be able to see the board. You guys have five hours (or more) to respond:

Anybody up for some trail running tomorrow??? I have virtually the WHOLE DAY (I think I'm gonna catch Wayne Brady's show at the Venetian, but that's not until 9:00 PM tomorrow night) to mess around.

I know probably most of you cats have to work, but if anybody wants to roll, hit me up with a post to this thread or a PM...I know very little about the area, so you have carte blanche to lead the trail and show this poor Angeleno a thing or two about the desert. Sound good? Heck, we can maybe even throw in lunch if you want (on me ). Sound good? Okay then. I'm signing off and I'll be back on in five hours or so (whenever I get to the hotel). Hit a nigga up!!!

$3.79 per gallon?!?! That's what I'm talking about!!! Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! Not really, but that's how much it was at the DecTrop on Decatur and Tropicana by the hotel. I also saw the 4WheelParts on Decatur as well...'bout to go check THAT joint out tomorrow...unless someone wants to go wheeling. Is everybody seriously working tomorrow? No one wants to play hooky, huh? You all are so responsible!

nah it's cause all the wheelin to be done out here is running over sagebrush and navigating the concrete clumps left in the middle of the road from all the construction

 

Well...since none of you Silver State chumps (and I use "chumps" in the most endearing sense of the word ) could wheel with me, I was forced to entertain myself in other ways...namely, dropping 3 bills at the 4WheelParts on Decatur. Money and new toys is a poor substitute for wheeling buddies, but on the plus side...I have a new Viair Compressor, a new Hi-Lift jack, and some other goodies!!! Everyone have a good afternoon.
