southern NV family camping
Need tips on where to go camping this year with the family.... not looking at driving more than 3-4 hours (one way). Anyone know good spots to go tent camping with kids?
Im thinking Az, Utah & Cali should have great spots... mild trails ok, but can't be anything crazy with little children. Needs to be more family fun places that have rivers or other natural sites they would like. camp fire friendly etc.
thx

Its more than just that, there is more to do. They have trees and a lake. Fishing tons of BLM land for use, dozens of camp grounds. Its also the home of John Bull trail. Holcomb trail, Gold Mine just to name a few. There is johnson Valley 20 miles away. Bull frong trail, home of king of the hammers.
