This Sunday 07-26-09 Angel Peak
Anybody interested? we can take the Angel Peak trail up to the top where the repeaters are... Pack a lunch and we can eat up there or if everyone wants we can shoot over to the Mt. Charleston Lodge for food, then take the trail down the backside which kicks out onto US95. Meet at 10:30 AM at the base of the Kyle Canyon turn off (theres a big dirt lot on the right side, after you turn on Kyle Canyon from US95, on the right hand side) Remember... no gas on the mountain.
This trail starts at the base of Mount Charleston (95 north @ Mt. Charleston turn off) and goes up to the top of Angel peak (8200 feet)... which has all the repeaters in it... Its a huge climb in elevation so the temp should drop down to the 70's
Stock friendly ... trail is like 10 miles but the lodge is 1/2 way
Goodie Devils peak is fun but you WILL use your sliders..If I remember you are stock height. I think rynokid had a lift and winch which is good to have if you high side. If you look at my devil peak album picture nine. When my right front wheel came down I slammed on the frame pretty hard with a 3 to 4 inch lift and 35's. just some info.

if i remember, there are two places on the trail (devil peak) you need to spot each other. the first one is at the beginning of the trail (very tight, see pictures). if you get passed the first one, you should be ok. be careful coming down the trail, i think that's when i hit my slider hard. take pictures!
Angel Peak is probably 4 hours round trip... at the 2 hour halfway mark (the Top) you can take paved road all the way back if you are pressed for time.. plus depends on stopping to eat or take in the scenery and wildlife
