Default ProSteer Ball Joints users,

Hello all,
Anybody fitted these, or other grease able ball joints, rather than the limp jeep ones.

The price of near $600 dollars for a set is a lot , any others out there cheaper, , my front end is looser than a bowl of watery custard, and cant be assed with the local Limp Jeep dealer, saying, "oh thats normal"

Help needed accross the pond.

the ProSteer Ball Joints are the only aftermarket ball joints that i know of that are actually beefed up and by a lot. they are definitely pricy but probably the very last set you will ever need to install. if you do a search, there are guys on this forum who are on their 5th set of ball joints so, these may be worth the investment.

Are these only if you need a camber adjustment, or can these simply be swapped out to replace the stock ones? Also are they available yet?

these are NOT offset ball joints - just heavy duty replacements.

sure, crown makes some direct replacements and they are pretty cheap but i don't think they are any strong than stock

Thanks WOL.

I emailed Dyna as well, waiting to hear back on how to order.

WOL,

I can literally just swap these and be good to go without any adjustment if I am stock height, correct?

first off, if you're ball joints aren't bad, there is no need to change them out. second, lift height makes no difference whether or not you can use these ball joints. but, to answer your question, yes, you can just swap these in and be good to go - no adjustments are needed.

at the moment, nobody that i know of or at least, not JK specific anyway.

i've seen some listed on jegs and thought about giving them a try but, being that these aren't cheap, i didn't want to buy them just to find out that they don't work.
