Default TF rear track bar bracket not fitting

Anyone else have problems with the bracket not fitting? My bolt is not even close to being able to go in the hole. I'll call Teraflex Monday to get something going but it's a bummer when things don't fit.

Not really looking forward to die grinding the hole either.

Im going out on a stretch because i do not know your set up. It looks lik the bracket that came with my 2.5BB. i didnt evenrun it and many people did not. i opted for an Adj. trackbar a couple months after i had the lift on. just my two cents.

Don't run it
At full stuff you'll most likely push it into your shock

I went with their axel trac bar mount

Anybody run this bracket with success?? I plan on ordering this kit soon and if the bracket is a POS what is the best plan of attack. Adjustable track bar and no bracket??

Thanks for any input.

I'd suggest going with an adjustable track bar.

Mine bolted on no problems..that bracket looks like the one that came with my TF 2.5"BB. It wheels just fine on my setup. Bummer about yours. I hate it when stuff does not fit right. I wonder if teraflex changed something or Jeep changed the tracbar bolt loc. at some point?

Take a crescent wrech and pry your mount open abit and use a BFH to knock it in. I think they drill the holes in various spots on the jk's. They're not very consistent on the jk.

For the time being, I just bolted it up without the bracket. My axle is shifted about 3/8-1/2" I believe but not terrible.

I bought the JKS adjustable for the front, but I'll have to wait on the rear for a bit.

The bend of the bracket is interfering with the frame mount as it stands. I'd have to pry the frame mount way apart to get the bracket to fit.

I'll wait to see what TF says Monday.

Thanks guys.

Mine fit right in no problem, only thing is that I fuggedup the hole I had to drill but I made it work.

Does the provided bolt spacer fit snug in between the bracket or is there a gap with it in place? If there's a gap I'd say install the track bar bolt and nut and tighten it until the spacer slides perfectly in there. Or you can try narrowing the gap by putting the bracket in a vise.

The bracket is fine, there's some JK's were there is a fitment issue and others that aren't. Some customers have spred the factory bracket more, others have cut a little of the bottom of the factory bracket. This allows the TB bracket to slide up in place. The axle mounted bracket is the better of the two brackets for geometry correction/handling. It Jeep would be more consistent with that factory bracket, this would not be a issue.
