Default Too Fourty or Not to Fourty... That is the real question

OK so after putting 35's on my jeep and finding they looked too small I went up to 37's and have been satisfied until my buddy offered me a set of 40" Iroks he has layin around. Now I like the rockers better than Iroks but still 40's..... gotta want a set of those

What do you guys think?
sorry for the shitty cell phone pics

nope still running stock 4.10's and I am still running stock shafts with no issues. I would have to cut the fenders into flatties but i think that would make up for the bigger tires.

as for the price we would work out a trade/cash deal my 37's for his 40's

Default hey

Hey I saw your jeep for the first time the other day driving past the new co-op card lock. That thing already grabs your attention driving down the road. I can't imagine what it would be like on 4.10's w/ 40's though. Finally got out and made a run into mud creek didin't quite make it thoe as it was getting dark, lots of frame sliding but my lift will be here friday from northridge. Still wanna get together and do some riding and check out your winch mount.

A 40 is gonna kill your hp. I would spend the extra cash/boot money towards gears before getting into a larger tire.

Default 40sss

Any concern about running 40s on your stock 44s. My axles wouldnt last a day of wheeling with those tires on it. If your not wheeling it no problem. You better plan on droping some coin on upgrades or repairs if you do plan on doing any agressive type of wheeling. Gears are a must.. You will hate driving that thing with the 4:10 gears. Probably get a solid 6 mpg...

Not that it wouldnt look awesome. ...
