Aeroforcetech interceptor oil pressure gauge installation
Hi all,
Just installed dual Aeroforcetech interceptor gauges, very nice and I am loving the fact that I can better monitor my jeeps performance now. I also bought the oil pressure & temperature kits, including the 5V boards etc.
Any thoughts or pictures where people put the oil pressure and temperature sensors? I bought the 3/8" fittings, any spare connections I can use on my engine?

I took a different approach when installing my gauge. I wanted to mount it somewhere I could see easily and somewhere I could reach easily. I also wanted to mount it somewhere where I didn't have to replace the dash if I decided not to keep it. My solution was to give up my driver side tweeter. I really can't tell the difference with it not being there. Here are a few pics to see what I did. I just made me a line where a wanted to cut and then used my Dremel.

Placement of oil pressure gauge on engine
Hi, nice location as well but as I just have upgraded my sound system, including the tweeters...........
Any thoughts on where i can put the oil pressure sensor on the engine?

Someone used a sandwhich plate type adaptor that goes in-between your oil filter and block but I don't remember the name of it or where it came from. Looked like a really easy install.

Oil pressure and temp gauge
I am about the install my oil temp and pressure sensors using the glow shift adaptor
Quick question, as the sensors are close together I am thinking about using one 5V regulated circuit and connect the black of both sensors and red of both sensors together (less wiring going up). So basically both sensors are on the same 5V power supply (regulated circuit) as well as having the black/grounds connected, will this work? (I don't see why not)

A friend of mine works for VDO. He told me that the oil pressure gauge (and others) work by measuring resistance from the sending unit and you should use an independent ground wire. That's VDO's take on their gauges not sure about Aeroforcetech. I'm using the sandwich plate with my gauges and it fills the bill nicely.

I was under the Jk the other day and noticed what looked like a plug, just above the oil filter where you could put a gauge sensor.
