Question about ARB lockers
Hi. Just Picked my jeep up from have gears and front and rear lockers installed. I have 3 switches. One for the compressor, 1 for the the front locker and 1 for the rear locker. When I turn on the compressor the compressor turns in and the switch lights up. When I hit front locker the locker engages and the switch lights up. Same with the rear switch. But, when I turn in the compressor and hit the rear locker before the front locker it doesn't turn on. The guy at 4 wheel parts said that's the way it works. You must engage the front first then engage the rear. Then turn off the front locker if you just want rear locker. Is this correct? Doesn't make sense to me.
My pop has ARB's in his tj and i believe it is compressor, rear, then front, and the front wont engage unless the rear is locked. i know his set up is a little older than your but thought I'd try and help.

Here ya go...
It'll be easy for them to swap the wires.
IMPORTANT
As a safety precaution, the 'switch 2' position in the wiring loom will not activate unless 'switch 1' is already activated. Therefore, if both front and rear air lockers are installed then the rear MUST be controlled by 'switch 1', and the front by 'switch 2'. This is a safety feature that serves to reduce the risk of the accidental / unintended engagement of the front air locker.
If only one air locker is installed then it should be wired using the terminals for 'switch 1', regardless of whether the air locker is mounted in the front or rear.
