I have 305 70 R17 MTRs w/ Kevlar on 17x9 wheels and they measure to be 34s. I can't say a bad thing about them.

I have 285/75/17 Toyo MTs. Was told that they measure out to about 33.8" which is essentially a 34".

tire rack and discount tire dont show anything...
Most sites, as well as the mfg's websites, will show the mfg's specs. Actual mounted heights, when under vehicle weight, are generally from .5"-1" shorter. So if you are looking for a 34" actual height tire, look at 35's.

Or are you looking for a tire that actually 'shows' 34" on the sidewall? For this, start looking at the metric sizes, not the standard sizes. Again, any of the websites will have a list for each tire, giving both the metric and standard sizes for each.
