Someone please help convince me...
So, about to pull the trigger on my lift/wheels/tires.
I'm leaning heavily toward the RK 2.5 stock mod with Bilstein 5100s. I'm perfectly content with running 15" wheels and 35" tires. But, what if I want to run 37"s in the future? Then, I'd need 17" wheels (at least). So, here's the quandary that I'm facing. For the same money (roughly), I can get the RK 2.5 stock mod, shocks, 15" wheels and 35" tires (and all the misc related stuff). Or, I can get the 2.5 Flex, 17" wheels, Treadwright Guard Dogs and all the related stuff. This would enable me to run 37's in the future should I decide to do so.
So, what would you do and why?
My only reservation to running the guard dogs is that they don't come in a 37 (at least not yet), so I'd be limiting myself to buying brand name tires in the future if I decide to go to 37s. Oh, and the 315s I hear are a little skinnier than the "standard" 35x12.50s. Does anyone have side by side pics to verify?
Thanks,
Kevin

15" wheels significantly limits your tire options and generally increases tire cost. Just my 2 cents I would go with the 17's if you wheel enough to need 15/35's you WILL upgrade to 37's eventually.
