BROKE Somethin
Had a great day climbing and broke a few things. I'm only worried about one.
What's the rubber boot between the pitman arm and the trackbar called? Can you recommend any good aftermarket replacements?

Got mine at advance auto with a 35% off coupon.
Your part number is ES3624
its cheap and it is an upgrade over stock (beefy and it has a zerk)
It is simply a dust cover. Helps keep dirt and other small particles out of the pitman arm ball socket. You are fine for now, but I suggest trying to find the boot separately or getting a pitman arm for a spare for when the other one fails.

why would you get a spare pitman arm?
Thanks guys. You just saved me tons of time searching. One last question. Don't you need a special tool to remove/replace it? I've never swapped tie rod ends out.
You will need a tie rod removal tool. Aka " the fork" you rent one from autozone, or buy one from them. Soak your threads in pb blaster or Wd40 and you will be set. It is pretty simple. Hardest part is centering the steering wheel so your ESP doesn't go nuts.
