Default 3 inch lift recommendations

I am looking at 3 inch lifts for my 2010 jk unlimited for under $1000. Any suggestions? I am leaning towards the Rancho 3 inch stock mod and adding control arms later. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. Would you recommend it over the Tereflex 2.5 inch kit? From what I read the Tereflax 3 inch kit will require a new driveshaft not needed with Rancho. I wo uld like to get as much lift as possible without driveshaft modifications.

I would recommend the teraflex 2.5 w/ at least the shock extensions.

I am purchasing Billstien 5100 shocks (and adjustable tracbar if I go with Teraflex). how much lift will Tereflex 2.5 give me? I have bumpers, 315 Duratrac spare/17 rim and rock rails

What size of tires are you considering?

My TF 2.5 kit netted me 3 3/8 in the front and a little shy of 3 in the back. I don't have aftermarket anything 'cept wheels/tires.

FYI

You can run either a 2.5" coil kit or a 3" TeraFlex kit. The 2.5" will raise the front 3.1", and the 3" will raise the front 4.25" on a stock JK. Generally I suggest the 3" for customers that plan on adding alot of weight to the JK. You do not have to change out your driveshafts with a 3" under a 2010 Unlimited.

How hard are you going to be pushing your Jeep?
