As that's the difference in the prices I've found between the two.
I see most guys are running the 2.5" w/ 35's successfully. I dont really have a lot of rock crawling around here, but ya never know.

I dont ever see myself doing much beyond (if at all) a 35" tire, as this is also my daily driver vehicle.

So from those with more experience then I, is it really worth the extra $70 for the 3/4"? Escpecially when I'm hearing the 2.5" will often take you to a 3" anyway.

Then again, after adding the sway bar links, I suppose it's a little closer to a $30 difference as the 3.25" kit comes with them.

 

And another quick thought - my JK has 800 miles on it. Is it worth replacing the factory shocks with the lift, or would a coil lift be sufficient for now?

 

I've got the 3.25" lift on mine and I love it. Personally to me the ride quality is a lot better over the stock suspension.

I've got 33's on right now but as soon as they are done plan on going to 35's and that's about as big as I'll go.

I'm looking at this one - Rough Country 3.25 Suspension Lift (07-12 Wrangler JK)

And I currently have 32's on mine. But am in the same boat, that hopefully by early summer of 2013, I'll upgrade to new rims and tires w/ some 35's.

 

I would probably go with 3.25" and skip the front spacers. Put them in the rear only. Reason is you get about 3" lift in front, and maybe 2.3" in the back. Then it also sags with weight in the back.

 

Yeah that's the lift I went with. Pretty straight forward install too. Had a friend help me install mine.

Im pretty psyched. I was really looking hard at a front bumper first, but after reading about how it'll drop the front end of your jeep because of the weight, the lift kit became a no brainer.

 

Am also looking at going with the RK 3.25" lift. Did anyone see the need for the extra steering stabalizer shock? Or we're there any problems with the wobbles?
