Default Is Ok to run with out the front driveshaft ?

Is Ok to run with out the front driveshaft for a few weeks? I just lifted our Jeep and the front driveshaft looks to be in to much of a angle. I am ordering a new one asap.
But in the mean time it LOOKS like it might be better to run with out it for a few weeks if nothing will slide out of it's place with out the driveshaft not being there.
Thanks for your advice, Robert.

Ran without mine for months. Just don't put yourself in a situation where you will need 4wd.

You'll be fine w/out running one. Others have taken them out to:

-Help with gas mileage (slightly)
-Have too much vibes due to a high lift & can't quite dial in the suspension to stop it and only install it when offroading
-When doing long distance driving
-When the stock goes bad and don't have a replacement available.
