Default lca install

This weekend I will be installing my metal cloak lca's and was wondering if I can do the install workout jacking up the Jeep?

Also, would you recommend just using a ratchet strap to move the axle forward to fit the lca's since they will be slightly longer than stock?

You can install the LCAs with all four tires of the jeep still installed and the Jeep on the ground. However, using a floor jack to slightly lift the front end at certain areas will help you align the control arms with the bracket so that the bolts can go in. I was able to install my arms w/out using ratchet straps using the floor jack method...

Look up the link on Project JK "do it yourself front end alignment" there's a write up there showing steps on installing the control arms...
