Default Fitch fuel catalyst opinion ?

Has anyone out there tried the Fitch fuel catalyst? I know that most gas
saving products are usually bogus, or at best, offer negligible results. I read
about it in JP magazine and investigated their website. I am not a chemical
engineer but the information they provide seems to make sense. The editors
at JP magazine did a test on a few of these so called "fuel saving" products
and concluded that this one does work (claiming about 1.5 to 2.0 + mpg
improvement). However, I am skeptical because they advertise their product
which may (or may not) cloud their judgement. This product is not exclusive to
Jeep vehicles and comes in 2 styles. An inline filter type application and also a
tablet(s) that can be dropped in the gas tank. Anybody familiar with this?

Even if it did work, would it be cost-effective? I'm guessing no. How much does it cost? How long does it last?

I'm selling 'Magic Beans' *tm.
Should be able to get 3 more mpg in most vehicles.
Used in conjuction with my 'Magic Snake Oil' *tm most will get an extra 6 mpg.

I have it
It works and i'm not going to argue it

I have shaved 2 litres per 100/kms off thats a savings of 11$ to 14$ a tank it will be paid for in 18 fill ups and its good for the life of the vehicle.
also has other benefits.
my oil is cleaner at oil changes
and my on ramp merge power has increased to the point that at the end of my merge ramp that i drive almost everyday the best i could get no holds barred foot to the floor accelerating was 120km/h and a bit
now i can get to 140km/h and a bit

the jeep just runs better.PERIOD

debunk it or call it what u want..... it works for me i have it and i know the facts.

I've been interested in it myself. There is a lot of independent testing that's been done so I have a tendency to believe this one. It's just hard to pull the pin on something that has magic results. I do know some customers around here that have them on there oil furnaces and they also speak highly of them and have usage reports that back up there claims. WRAITHJEEP were did you get yours and how much?

well in Canada there is only one authorized dealer it was 229 CDN shipped
if ya goto their web site there is a list of dealers and a 1 800 number than can also direct u
If i recall correctly it is 189$ US
comes with the tool to release gas line fitting and u just connect the connectors
not much room to mount it. mine is over by the battery and fuse box
the fittings are high quality and can be adjusted to point in the right direction for a clean smooth install. plenty of fuel line, the instructions are ok at best.
hope that helps you out

ask away if u want more info.

This product is absolute rubbish just like the "CONDENSATOR" which you can find here: http://www.condensator.com/

Read about the word "Catalyst" on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catalyst and you'll see that it has nothing to do with a light hydrocarbon solution such as gasoline physically touching the nefarious contents of the Fitch unit. It simply isn't possible for this product to change anything but the contents of your wallet.

Again with the "CONDENSATOR" we see the word "catalytic" used in their magic product. Total bilge water if you ask me. There is even another product out on the market that attaches to your fuel line and is supposed to "align" the molecules of your fuel as well. All these products are a waste of money. You have been warned.

Well here's what I think. How about a few of you go out and purchase one and report your finding back here.
