Default Major Delay getting lift kit.. WTF Mopar?

Ordered a Stage 3 Mopar lift kit for my 2013 JK on August 30th. To date, it still hasn't arrived at my local dealership where I ordered it. They keep telling me the order is placed, and that they have tried unsuccessfully to see what the delay is, other than the order is being "processed".. WTF? Anyone out there know anything about why this Mopar/TeraFlex kit is taking some damn long to ship!?

Thanks in advance!

Why not just get the TF kit from one of the forum vendors?

Your first mistake you ordered it through a dealership.I bet you paid a stiff price for the kit.

Are you comparing the price of the Mopar installed kit compared to let's say an installed Teraflex kit? I assume the price difference would be very similar. If you compare to all other kits/shops or self installed then of course you will have a huge difference.

I don't think this Stage 3 kit is overpriced for what it is. And the price wasn't the issue. I too like others on the forum that have installed Mopar lifts, my local dealer has provided written assurance that any warranty claims on my jeep will be honored if I get the Mopar lift and have them install it. I also think the Fox Racing Shocks are really nice, and it is a complete kit.

My issue is why the heck its now six weeks later, and I still don't have it. I agree that dealing with the dealership on something like this is pretty lame, and if I didn't care about the warranty issues, I Would have gone to 4 Wheel Parts and had a lift installed weeks/months ago.

It just seems like a ridiculous amount of time to wait for it to arrive.

Arm, leg, and left teste for the same warranty I had on my lifted jeep for 36k miles Haha not a bad kit, but what are you paying total for dealer to install it?

I'd just like to see what happens if a drive shaft goes, or you need ball joint, wheel bearings ect. Not being an ass, just wondering if they truly would cover something directly caused by lift/ tires/ wheeling. Granted there are some dealers who may cover that stuff regardless, others are pricks

Yea, proof will be in the honoring of the warranty if needed.. We'll see.. After sitting here for six weeks wondering where the hell the kit is, and buggin' the crap out of the parts dept. at the dealer, I wish I had done something else. But I know, once its installed, it will be great. It was $2,400, they said the install was about six hours.. Who knows..
