Default Rock Krawler 2.5 X-Factor lift install

Well I am getting everything pulled together for my lift install. I am finally replacing the old rough country lift. It has served me well but it is time for an upgrade. I've got the 2.5 X factor here, inventoried all of the parts, shocks and bump stops are on the way. I will try to keep copious notes and post pics as I do the install. I've seen much written on this lift, sadly, with little clarity and virtually no pics.

That being said.. Any advice from those who have traveled this path before me on this particular lift would be greatly appreciated. Preferably with some pics..I'm a visual learner...for sure.

As of now my major concern is jam nut torquing on the control arms and track bars. Any ideas on a realistic way of achieving this. Thanks in advance and I hope to help out the next ambitious individual make the RK X-Factor quest.

I put loc-tite on the jam nuts and tightened down with a very large adjustable wrench. I had an idea what 200lbs of pressure is using my torque wrench and tightened them by 'feel'. They've been on for over a year and are still tight. If memory serves me, I tightened them down on the ground using a screwdriver and adjustable wrench and then put the brute force on them while on the jeep. I had to make sure when tightening down that I didn't cause the adjustable control arm to get misaligned.

I just wanna make sure I understand Scooby...
So you adjusted, aligned and snugged on the ground. Bolted the non-adjustable end into the bracket on the jeep. Then with the other end unattached cranked it down.

How'd you get the trackbars due to the fact that both ends turn. Or did you use a similar process? Thanks for your help.

Please feel free to post any pics or findings as you do your installation as well. The more information the better for folks out there trying to make a decision with real hard data as opposed to conjecture and opinions.

I will also be adding prices I paid for the parts and part numbers. For the sake of not pushing/endorsing the companies I utilized I will not mention there names.

Good luck on your install

Good stuff man and i will post pictures along the way to see if we can help put it together for other folks. Im not worried about the install it as we did a 2.5 TF coild lift on a buddies Jeep. Went very well but time consuming due to no impact. This time we will have an impacts and such tools. Only thing i might be concered about is doing the control arms which does not seem to be that bad.
