I'd think some members would chime in. I've seen lots of members here change from JK's to Raptors, or Raptor to JK's.

I just got rid of my Raptor in April and got a JK. It's a totally different beast. If your looking for durability I would choose the JK hands down. The Raptor is nowhere close to a trophy truck or even a well built prerunner. If you want to go fast offroad, it will do that. If I were to do it all over again I would build a prerunner ranger. The Raptor is deceiving, it will make you feel like you can drive harder than what the truck can handle.

Check out the FordRaptorForum.com if you want more info. More and more Raptor owners are trading them in for JK's. A month after I got rid of mine my buddy did the same thing after riding in my JK. Baddkarmaracing is a member on here that also traded his in.

Before getting my Wife into a Ford Escape, it was between a JKU and a Raptor. The Raptor would be a nice truck with cool capabilities on dirt roads but I do not think it can handle the same kind of abuse a JK will handle. The 10mpg or closer to 7-8mpg issue is another thing to consider. Nice truck tho...

The wife wanted a self opening and closing tailgate, hence the Escape Titanium... For now!

My buddy has a Raptor and just ordered a Rubicon. They're nice trucks but the JK is the better machine.

I have an F150 SWB and a JK in my driveway. The F150 is not a Raptor, but if I had to get rid of one it would not be the JK. The F150 feels like a clumsy sweat hog after driving the Jeep.

The Raptor is a very nice truck. I don't want to turn this thread into a Raptor versus Power Wagon debate, But if I were buying an off road ready truck, it would be the Power Wagon hands down.
