Default Corner armor recomendation that will accomodate stock tail lights

Y buddy ground guided me into a tree this weekend and I bashed in the rear tail light and dented the corner a bit. I was looking for rear tail armor that accommodates stock tails. I have a set of blacked out tails I wanted to put on. I was thinking of going with the bushwhacker tail gaurd. I know it will not provide armored duties but I have bushwhacker flares abd am not a hardcore wheeler and don't plan on backing into any more trees. I would like to go with a true ar our corner but they all look to be in 600 range and reguires circle leds. Thank u in advance Doug.

I think Warrior makes something similar to BushWhacker. Oh and AEV is also similar in looks but constructed of metal.

I have the AEV ones. They run about 350 I think. They are really stout and look pretty good in my opinion

I've heard this too many times to count. When I do, I tell the person to get full corner armor and steel fenders. They don't and then sometime not too much later, they take a tree to the side and jack everything up. Then they buy it.

I am running the bushwacker corners this year. I won't be hitting stuff hard, maybe will rub the corner on something but no hard hits. So these will be fine.

Are the bushwhacker corners plastic like the flares?

The AEV corners are steel?

Aev corners are steel. You're better off getting rid of the stock tail lights if you wheel in an area where you could back into a tree.

I'm the exact same boat, smashed a tail light and slapped some band aids on it for now. Ordering the Evo corners today with flush tail lights. Get it done and never worry about it again.
