Default Changing a 2009 JK X Sway Bar to a Rubicon Sway Bar with Manual Disconnect

I have a 2009 JK X with a 3"BDS lift kit and 33" tires. The sway bar is difficult to disconnect. I have looked into several options and am not happy with the projected handling of the Jeep on pavement with most systems.
It has been suggested that I find a used Rubicon sway bar and modify it using a manual disconnect with a handle that comes through the bumper. Have any of you done this and with what results?

What handling characteristics are you referring to? And you are just talking about JKS or Teraflex type of discos, right? Or about some type of antirock setup?

The "soft ride" more prone to roll over, more tippy on corners or turns on pavement. I am referring to both the Teraflex and AntiRock tension bar that replaces the stock sway bar.

I have anti rock's on my jeep, you would have to be lifted to the sky and taking residential turns at 50 to roll. Do you currently have quick disconnects or are you unbolting the links every time?

I have heard from other folks, including professionals that the ride will never be the same once you take off the original stock sway bar and replace it with an anti rock bar. So back to my original post, I am interested in getting input from anyone who has a JK and has replaced the stock sway bar with a JK Rubicon sway bar with a modification so it is disconnected manually and reconnected manually with a handle that comes through the front bumper. Has any one out there ever done this modification? If so what were the results?

I am new to this forum and am wondering if this is going out to all the JK registered folks?

Yep, this is a JK forum, with somewhere over 100,000 registered users, and this modified tech area is the most heavily used sub-forum. So I'd have to say yes to that.

Intentionally breaking the e-disco to use manually just isn't something that a lot of people do. Especially people wanting to buy one just to break it.

But is this what you are talking about?

If I understand what u are saying, you own a JK that is not a Rubicon. You replaced your stock sway bar with a Rubicon sway bar and made it manual ie no electronics. Now you have a knob to disconnect from the outside of the Jeep. Pros vs Cons?

What did you mean by "evo no limits"?

Offroad Evolution, or Evo. NoLimits is the name they gave to their version of rubi swaybar manual disconnect.

EVO: Suspension / Steering, Swaybar Disconnect by EVO MFG.
