Thinking of putting Cooper ST Maxx on my rig. Anyone with experience with this tire?

Yep. 35's with 16k on them so far and they're holding up great. You won't be disappointed

Have 40k miles on my 255/80/17 ST Maxx tires and still have approx 2/3s tread left. They are the best AT tire I have ever owned. The only thing I regret is not getting them in 35s.

Hoping you see this reply. Do you have a lift of any sort on yours? Wheel spacers? Stock wheels? I have a JKU Sport with 17" wheels. Looking at putting on Rubicon shocks, 1.25" spacers (cosmetics), and then these exact tires.

I had them for a week not bad.
Ended up switching to Toyo RTs best tires I had so far same price point and 45K mile warranty which coopers don't have.

I do have the AEV 2.5 DS lift, my wheels are factory 17" with no spacers. You should be just fine with what your planning on doing. I know you said you were adding spacers for looks, but FWIW you wont really need to use them because the tire at 255/80/17 is the same width as the factory tires and is only about an inch taller. If you disconnect and flex out fully you might rub a little, but I'd say you should be good to go with your plans.

Good luck, and share a pic or 2 when you get it done.

I do not have a lift yet. Should be delivered Monday and hopefully installed next week. I did put my tires on as someone wanted to buy by Rubi take offs. So I am stock on 35s with flat fenders for a bit.

I did not end up with the ST Maxx as it turns out. Discount Tire down here does not carry them. I ended up with Dick Cepek Extreme Country, which is made by Cooper and is another branding of the ST Pro as it turns out. So still a cooper tire.

I have procomp La Paz 29 wheels, 4.5" backspacing, 16" wheels. Don't need spacers as not rubbing.
