Just got my lift on today and the steering seems a bit iffy....

We have the FT 3" Premium Kit, SpiderTrax Wheel Spacers and 35X12.50X15 BFG MTR's on a JK Rubicon...

As you have the premium kit it sounds like you just need an aligment and the steering wheel centered. Have you already done that? If not, try that, should fix all your problems!

I installed my Premium kit on Saturday and it drives GREAT once the steering wheel was centered and the front track bar was adjusted. I used WOL's write ups to adjust them both and had no problems.

I am curious of you "iffy" steering. I did the economy lift and my steering has a darty/wandering type feel to it due to the decrease in caster angle of the front axle. Your premium lift "should" put the caster back where it needs to be. I am finding/reading if your caster is correct your wheel should snap back to center after a slow speed turn. Mine does not. I am putting on the full traction adj control arms to try and correct this. I have the uppers on and am still waiting for the lowers. As soon as they get here I will let everyone know.

How much pressure are you running in your tires. I went from 40psi to 27psi which is about where mine should be. That also helped. Do the chalk test to see where you should be. (Run over a chalk line and keep letting air out until it copies across the whole tread pattern)

Keep me posted. Hope some of this helps out!

I installed an ultimate kit and 35's over the weekend, and I too have the "wander" and ESP issues despite trying once (read: shooting in the dark) to adjust the camber by pulling the front lowers out about 5/8" longer than stock. I basically have no idea what I'm doing in this department, so I've got an appointment on Thursday with a reputable 4x4 shop to have them check everything out before I hop in it on Monday to drive from SF to Tucson

All in all, it's driveable, but I would really like to dial things in to get the "better than stock" ride that everyone claims with the ultimate kit. I'll see what happens on Thursday and make sure I debrief to understand what they actually adjusted (since I left the uppers stock length going in).
