There is a ton of info on drive shafts, what to get, how to put them in etc... In the upper right hand corner you will see a search button. You can use that function to find out a lot of info. Check out JE Reel and Tom Woods Drive Shafts.

I recently installed a rear JE Reel 1350!

Check these out.

I think you don't need to hurry up to replace drive shaft with 3rd party one.

Once you have seen leaking grease around CV joint (transfer side) and also
damaged boots (due to interference with tranny) then its signal to check new
one.

At the moment, nothing seems superior than OE part for drive shaft, my opinion.

I think hub conversion is more valuable than to replace drive shaft.

I agree that you might want to wait until you can confirm a problem exists; however, if youlook at the thickness of a stock vs. aftermarket shaft there is a significant differnce in favor of the aftermarket. JE Reel, woods, teraflex and others are all excellent choices.

Added Rubicon Express front driveshaft with 3" Full Flex Teraflex lift kit.
Problems.......vibrates. Took off and no vibration.
Sent out to be re-balanced, still vibrates.
May buy Teraflex driveshaft and see what happens.

Did you check your pinion angle and caster? Aftermarket driveshafts have different requirements than the stock POS.

I don't agree unless your wheeling is light or nonexistant. If you disconnect your swaybars you'll have enough articulation to go beyond the design parameters of the stock DS. It will fail, and if Murpy is riding shotgun it will be at the worst possible time.

The OE driveshaft was designed to give the Commander and Grand Cherokee a smooth ride. It should never have been put inthe JK. It was not designed to live with aftermarket lifts and control arms with flex joints that provide more articulation.

Why would a hub conversion be so valuable? What is he great benefit to justify the cost; which is not insignificant. I've seen enough failed stock JK drieveshafts to know it is a weak link and should be replaced.
