while I still have mine on my 3" long arm, I'll be changing them out when i get my gear swap.

How long have you ran yours that way..? Any idea on how much to upgrade the drive shafts?

On my first Jk I got about just over 5,000 miles out of it. I did wheel it kinda hard. I'm sure that didnt help.


the new JK has about 1000 miles on it.

If you have an auto, you'll need to replace both. If you have a standard. You can get away with just the rear.

JE reels are about $379 from 4wd hardware for the rears.

Yeah, mines auto...I probably won't wheel quite as much as you..so i hope to get more than 5k...

i've read people are getting alot out of miles out of them. Its not something I'm willing to chance


You will need the front for sure. When your front axle drops its going to hit the tranny skid.

I've got a full traction 3" hd lift on my 2dr and its actually about 4" but I've been running the stock driveshafts for about 2,000 miles so far
