Default Teraflex quick disco pin bent

Does anyone have a link to a thread that was posted awhile back in regards to the teraflex quick disconnect pins getting bent up? I can't seem to find it or any comments on how to keep it from happening again (I've already replaced one pin and bent two others back into shape)

This probably had something to do with it...

Just get some of those pins with a snap circle. Like on jks discos. Or if you got room turn the pin the other way.

HAha, dude, you should see my Teraflex quick disco links... I ripped the bolt out of the top of them and bent the axle mount...

To answer your question, though, a sufficient amount of leverage will bent the cotter pins you're speaking of back into shape. I've done it a couple of times now, because they always get bent when my tires rub.

Clips are sold at home depot. Looks like you inserted them way too far. They should only be as far as the first "bump".

I bent mine quite a few times until I started putting them in the other hole...instead of the one in your pic....and only put them in till the first bump....and I bought them at home depot....now trouble free for over 2 years!!
