I'll post them in a couple of hours. Sorry I didn't get them up last night. Got home, showered, and headed back out all night.

ANd the one that shows how much work you DIDN'T do, will definately be up...

We're talking about doing Pancake rock again in the next few weeks. Frank and I were thinking about setting something up

Thanks for posting dude.....and thanks for showing up to lend a hand. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I really appreciate this site and the people on it.

So, I spent all day today pulling the repaired axle shaft out again to press the ball joint the rest of the way in......much easier off the trail. I also put the new chromoly shaft on the drivers side, changed my diff fluid and fixed the brake issues. All is good again......actually better because I now have chromoly shafts. Everything is working great and I'm ready for the trail again.

Hopefully we can put a run together in a few weeks. Next weekend I've got some commitments on Saturday and the following weekend I'm on call; so, I'd be down for a run in 3 weekends from now or Sunday next weekend.

Thanks again to all that helped and offered to help!

No thanks needed Gerrit. Glad to hear that you got everything put back together. What was the brake issue??

In regards to a run, the weekend after easter is best for me. If you are free Sunday, we should throw the date around a little bit and see who is interested. I am out of town from Apr 15-18 so your "3rd" weekend won't work for me.

Let me know where you are looking at going. I'll have my lift installed by then and will be ready to try it out

The brakes turned out to be a couple of things. There is a small soft metal square peice that bolts to the caliper. I needed to file that down a bit. Also, we re-used the copper crush washers on the trail. Those are a one use item. The vice grips worked out great for pinching the line to get me off the trail.

As far as a run goes, I am open to the dates I mentioned. I wouldn't mind getting out to the desert before the weather gets too hot.

Let me know if you need a hand with your lift or doing your fender chop. Fender chop doesn't really take that long and I did mine with the fenders still on the jeep.
